You can find
some of the best “Chai Taw Kway” at one of the hawker stalls under the Segama
Street bridge. The street is on a stretch of parking lots right underneath the Segana over bridge. (For detail directions, please refer to the map above).
It is actually called Jalan Segama, and its right next to KK
Plaza on the Waterfront Road, across the street from the Central Market. This
market has been opening more than 30 years and petty traders selling home
cooked food with reasonable low prices, RM 6 per dish.
The hawker open
his stall in the evening at 5pm until 10pm (Mon-Sun). The number of stalls depends
on the season. During peak season there are a lot, while on the off season
there may be just one or two stalls.
Customer's Feedbacks
Customer 1: The fried carrot cake taste salty and delicious.
Customer 2 : This is our first try. I surprised that it is sticky, I thought it will be soft like taufu. I like the taste anyway.
