Syrup Juices

As we failed to interview the owner of the Kuih Lobak Goreng with video recordings, here we made up another interview.

There are three type of syrup drinks selling in the stall of Gerai Kak Ju, honeydew, coconut and Cendol. The drinks are very delicious and really refreshing. The stall owner, Kak Ju selling with a very reasonable price of only RM1 per cup, which is very cheap comparing to the other places. Other than the drinks, Kak Ju also selling some homemade "kuih muih".

The street is on a stretch of parking lots right underneath the Segama over bridge

Location :

Gerai Kak Ju is one of the hawker stalls under the Segama Street bridge, which is the same row with the Kuih Lobak Goreng. It is actually called Jalan Segama, and its right next to KK Plaza on the Waterfront Road, across the street from the Central Market. (For detail direction, please refer to the map above.)

The owner open her stall in the evening at 5pm until 9pm (Mon-Sun), will be earlier once her food and drinks are sold out. The number of stalls depends on the season. During peak season there are a lot, while on the off season there may be just one or two stalls.

Customer's Feedbacks

Customer 1 : The syrups are really refreshing especially the coconut syrup. (Coconut)

Customer 2 : I like the syrup in this stall because it is not too sweet and the sugar added in the syrup are in the right amount. (Honeydew)
